ミュンヘンのティーレマンがドレスデンへ(短信）

ミュンヘン市庁からティーレマンとの契約更改はしないというアナウンスがあったことを前に書きましたが，近く来日するミュンヘンフィル＝ティーレマンを日本のAgent が素知らぬ顔でその蜜月ぶりを宣伝する中で，先週の金曜日に正式にドレスデンとの契約が確定したようです．

Fabio Luisi, who is leaving to join the Zurich Opera，の後任として，music director of the Staatskapelle Dresden　との契約が成立したようです．

ドイツ・ザクセン州ドレスデンの歌劇場であるゼンパー・オーパー専属オーケストラで，「ドレスデン国立管弦楽団」、ないし「ドレスデン国立歌劇場管弦楽団」　と呼ばれるモノです．ヨーロッパで2番目に古いオーケストラで，音の美しさはウイーンフィルと並び称されるといいます．　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

Thielemann called it “a dream.” と本人が喜んでいるようですから，今度はミュンヘンで争った客演指揮者の決定権なども握るのだろうと思われます．

なお，ドレスデンとの契約は2012年からです．

Thielemann Takes Post With Dresden Ensemble

Disputes over the German conductor Christian Thielemann’s role with the Munich Philharmonic finally ended Friday when he accepted the position of music director of the Staatskapelle Dresden, according to the German newspaper Freie Presse. After contract negotiations between Mr. Thielemann and Munich failed in July, public entreaties and recent discussions between the two suggested that some reconciliation might be in order. But on Friday the Dresden appointment, which begins in 2012, was announced, and Mr. Thielemann called it “a dream.” He is to replace the chief conductor, Fabio Luisi, who is leaving to join the Zurich Opera. Mr. Thielemann is expected to sign his contract by mid-November.
